ABOUT ME

I was born in Bačka Palanka, Serbia on 13th of August, 1977. After finishing primary school „Vuk Karadžić“, Bač in 1992, and high school “20. oktobar” in Bačka Palanka, in year of 1996, I applied for Physic Faculty, University of Belgrade, in Belgrade and, as one of the best students in my generation, I finished elementary studies in 2002 and begin my professional career in one of the most elite organizations within University of Belgrade – Institute of Physics.  In 2002 I started with my MSc studies on School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. I completed my MSc thesis in 2008. This year, I started my investigations of terrestrial ionosphere and began PhD studies on Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade. My PhD dissertation entitled “Diagnostic of plasma of ionospheric D region by electromagnetic VLF waves” is completed 2014.

In my studies, the attention is focus on detections and analyses of low ionospheric perturbations induced by different astrophysical and geophysical phenomena such as solar activity, gamma ray bursts and earthquakes. Also, I study propagation of telecommunication signals within terrestrial ionosphere under different conditions.

I have numerous papers in journals and proceedings. Also, I held several lectures on international meetings and participated in organizations of international meetings.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Monitoring terrestrial ionosphere using VLF (very low frequency) radio waves.

Work with big databases collected by two VLF receiver systems in Institute of Physics in Belgrade since 2003 and big databases obtained by different satellites.

Development of detection methods of various astro- and geophysical phenomena using these databases.

Development of theoretical and numerical methods for determination of ionospheric plasma parameters and their application to experimental data.

Examination of effects caused by astro- and geophysical phenomena on telecommunication signals in different frequency bands

Data-mining in big databases in order to find ionospheric- perturbations caused by numerous events such as solar activity, gamma ray bursts, meteors, earthquakes and tropical cyclones.
